Character: It is colorless transparent prismatic or small spicules or granular crystalline powder, odorles. Relative density is 1.957g/cm3. Melting point 100℃.Easily soluble in water. aqueous solution is acidic to litmus. Slightly soluble in ethanol and glycerol.
Usage: It is used as nutritional supplement( zinc fortifier) and processing aid. It’s used in milk product, infant food, liquid and milk drinks, grain and its’ products, table salt, soft drinks, maternal formula and coco powder and other flavor nutritional solid drinks.
Shelf life and storage: 24months. It should be stored in dry and ventilative warehouse. Kept away from heat and moisture during transportation. Unloaded with care so as to avoid damage.Furthermore , it must be stored separately from poisonous substances.
