Character:It is a white crystalline powder, has an alkali taste, easy delixing. Relative density 1.57g/cm3, Melting point 292 ℃， soluble in water , methanol ,ethanol and liquid ammonia. Insoluble in ether and acetone. The solution is alkaline to litmus, but not to phenolphthalein. low toxic. Combustible.
Usage:It is used as buffering agent, neutralizerm preservative and color fixative to protect natural colors of animal and plant.
