Character: Cobalt acetate tetrahydrate is a fine reddish-violet crystalline granular or powder. It is easy deliquescence. Relative density is 1.705g/cm3. Cobalt acetate is easy soluble in water,acid ,ethanol and ethyl acetate. It lose all crystal water at 140℃。
Usage: Cobalt aceate use as catalyst in organic oxidation process for the manufacture of adipic acid. caprolactum ,dimethyl terephthalate acid ect. Used as a desiccant for paints and coatings, ceramic pigments, catalysts, pharmaceutical intermediates, analytical reagents.
Storage:It should stored in Dry and ventilative warehouse, avoid direct sunlight.
