Character: It is colorless or white crystalline powder. Alkaline, easily deliquescent. soluble in water. methanol ,ethanol and liquid ammonia. Insulble in ether and acetone.
Usage: It can be used as a buffering agent to control the acidity of food. Can be used in low sodium diet as a substitute for sodium diacetate. It can also be used in various processed foods such as meat preservative. instant meal, salad dressing etc.
Packing: It is packed with polyethylene bag as inner layer, and a compound plastic woven bag as outer layer. The net weight of each bag is 25kg
Storage and Transport: It should be stored in a dry and ventilative warehouse, kept away from heat and moisture during transportation,unloaded with care so as to avoid damage.Furthermore, it must be stored
